Looking for a family adventure travel? The Lodge at Chaa Creek has been family friendly since its inception when Mick and Lucy Fleming built two small guest cottages while raising their young family along the banks of the Macal River. Kids and grandparents naturally figured into our evolution as a full service nature based lodge and activities center.

Great palms, mahoganies and cedars towering above colorful tropical flowers and teeming with wildlife – this is Chaa Creek. Visitors can enjoy a wide rage of activities like horseback riding through jungle trails, canoeing, bird watching, visiting

Maya temple sites or the resort’s own Blue Morpho butterfly farm or being pampered with Belize spa treatments in our beautiful world class spa.

Chaa Creek has always been committed to providing an ecologically educational, as well as recreational experience. The Natural History Centre, Butterfly Farm, and

Rainforest Medicine Trail, all an easy walk from the cottages, have made learning about the natural and cultural wonders enjoyable for thousands of overseas and local visitors and students in Belize.

Our friendly staff pays personal attention to guests of all ages, offering baby-sitting services and child friendly jungle safaris to ensure that the whole family has fun while sharing a truly special Belize adventure. Considering that kids up to 18 stay for free and also enjoy a number of complimentary activities, the Chaa Creek experience is an affordable holiday option for creating an exciting and priceless experience!

“We’ll never be the same. We’ve been back home about 10 days now, and I still long for, constantly dream about, Belize. Our time at Chaa Creek was just heaven. Our teenagers had the time of their lives, and so did we. Thanks so much. . . See you all again as soon as possible. . .”

-The Carlson/Knightes Family.
