Belize Honeymoon Sweepstakes

After 16 years of marriage, my husband and I have shared some pretty wonderful experiences.  We have sat on the edge of cliffs overlooking beautiful gorges, watched early morning fog lift over pristine lakes, listened to great horned owls echo through the forest, and delighted in the sweet taste of freshly gathered blackberries. We have shared a spiritual and loving relationship while we’ve raised our children.  We’ve worked hard and have had our share of the good times and not-so-good times.  Through out our journey, we have stuck together and would love to renew our commitment to each other while celebrating our special bond at Chaa Creek.

We have dreamed of canoeing the gentle waters of the Macal River while bird watching and absorbing the jungle sounds.   Together, we can’t wait to hike; mountain bike and horse back ride the trails in the 365-acre rainforest reserve.  We have pictured ourselves as explorers in the ancient Maya City of Xunantunich discovering hidden secrets and learning even more about Belize at the Natural History Center.  We can’t wait to see a Blue Morph first hand at the butterfly farm at Chaa Creek.

After all this adventure, we look forward to a slow soak in the pool and rest peacefully poolside as we bask in the Belize warmth.

To spoil ourselves even further, we can’t wait to be pampered at the Belize Spa.  Who could resist a therapeutic massage or perhaps a full body Seaweed Wrap while leaving our stress behind?  We can see ourselves winding down in the evening in our own thatched hut while sipping a cold belkin brew in our own private Jacuzzi.

We dream of the day when we can slow down at this wildly civilized lodge, Chaa Creek. What better way to renew our vows, celebrate our love for each other and indulge in a little romance.   AHHHHHHHH! It must be ecco paradise.
