Belize Honeymoon Vacation Essay#6
Belize Honeymoon Vacation
I couldn’t imagine a better honeymoon than one in Belize at The Lodge at Chaa Creek. My wife and I were married in August of 2009, but because she is a schoolteacher, we were not able to celebrate and relax as much as we would have liked. Our life together since then has been a bit rushed, and I don’t feel like we’ve had enough time to ourselves to enjoy being married. She has been busy with school, and the same has been true with my job. I would love for the two of us to have an opportunity to relax and take some time together for a vacation.
Also, my wife has back problems that constantly plague her, and I would love for her to be able to experience a spa vacation. She has been to the doctor and chiropractor a few times, and has done some physical therapy to help with it, but she has never had a spa-like experience to relax her. Her problems are muscular, and it seems like relaxing things like taking baths really help her feel better. Chaa Creek sounds like the perfect place for that type of relaxation. I can’t imagine a better setting for that than Chaa Creek’s hilltop spa. The other perks like the private jacuzzi, candlelit dinner, and adventure activities would only add to the experience.
I don’t know much about Belize specifically, but I’ve always wanted to visit Central America. My wife and I have never been out of the country, and we would love to travel and see different cultures/perspectives. I am fascinated with history, and the Mayan history of Belize seems intriguing. I would love to explore Xunantunich and relive a past era of history. Though my wife appreciates history as well, she has always wanted to visit somewhere tropical, and Belize would fit the bill there too. In addition to that, the scenes and photos I’ve seen of Belize depict it as a beautiful natural wonder. Truly, it seems like paradise.
