The most beautiful things I have seen in this world have not been created by man.

The most beautiful things I have seen in this world have not been created by man. While an artistic painting, photograph or sculpture may be captivating in its own way, nothing can compare to the natural beauty of nature that envelops all of our senses. Imagine standing on a green mountaintop as the sun is setting, painting a backdrop of oranges, reds and purples. The wind is in your hair, the aroma of flowers is wafting around you and you hear birds and insects chirping away.

I love spending time in nature, hiking, swimming and exploring and I think that it is so important to preserve the natural ecosystems for future generations. We do our best when we are at home to do this by recycling, reusing and repurposing items, and buying organic foods. Vacationing at Chaa Creek would be an extension of the way we live the rest of our lives.

It is in the true spirit of travel to experience the history and culture of the place you are visiting and allow it to change you, rather then you changing it. How sad it is to see places rich in natural beauty being developed into concrete compounds where tourists never leave the walls of the resort. It would be such a privilege to visit Chaa Creek and experience the natural beauty and culture of Belize.
