Caribbean Vacation Sweepstakes Winners
Cayo District, Belize June 16, 2011 -The Lodge at Chaa Creek, Belize’s award-winning eco resort in the jungles of Central America is delighted to announce the winners of its Caribbean Vacation Sweepstakes.
The Caribbean Vacation Sweepstakes offered free eco-holidays inclusive of: Round trip transfers from International Airport or Belize City, A visit to the Belize Zoo with transfer on arrival or departure, four nights Cottage accommodation, full breakfast, lunch and dinner, guided visits to the Natural History Museum, Butterfly Farm, and Belize Rainforest Medicinal Trail, canoeing on the Macal River, guided early morning bird watching, one full & half day tour to Belize’s Maya Temple Sites, Sacred Caves, or Nature Reserves.
A total of thirty three participants used various forms of expression including poems, stories, fables and photographic displays about responsible travel to explain why they would choose Chaa Creek Belize as their ecotourism destination. All submissions were posted on the Belize Travel Blog and the Chaa Creek staff along with two kids from St. Andrews Elementary School who were also winners of our Eco Kids Summer Camp Scholarship officiated and drew the winning lotto tickets.
