The environmental situation in some countries may be so bad and already too late to mend. Not so in Belize. However, if we are to save our environment, the children need to be educated so we can learn to take care of our precious jewel.

We do not want to harm the planet any further so let us re-use, reduce and recycle. We must act now before it is too late, and realize that one small change can make a big difference. Presently, technology has replaced books and made life easier for mankind. Children are getting obese because of eating unhealthy food and spending countless hours in front of the television. The people of today’s society are very naive, they prefer spending most of their salary buying vehicles than walking. It is time to educate ourselves. Let us practice healthy living and make smart choices about the resources we exploit.
