Mother Nature and Belize

My mom has instilled a lot of value in myself and my little sisters to appreciate what we have around us. Now I don’t just look at a bird as a bird but I wonder what do they eat? Where do they sleep? What is there life like? It makes me feel closer to nature in a sense. With everything my mom has taught me it has helped me to go out and search on my own to find out the answers to my questions. She shows me which books I can use to build my knowledge.

A Fun Summer Program For Kids

I want to be an Eco-Kid because I love nature. My mom have taught me since I can remember not to throw away garbage through the car window and one time I did and she saw me and we had to go all the way back for me to pick it up. I cried and asked her why did she do that and she said to me that it can harm animals. From then I have never done that ever again. When I was 6 my mom also took me canoeing and we saw garbage on the river and a bird picking at it that is when I saw for myself how it can hurt animals. I try to teach my friends at school and most of them listen to me to throw away their garbage in the trash bin.

While an artistic painting, photograph or sculpture may be captivating in its own way, nothing can compare to the natural beauty of nature that envelops all of our senses. Imagine standing on a green mountaintop as the sun is setting, painting a backdrop of oranges, reds and purples. The wind is in your hair, the aroma of flowers is wafting around you and you hear birds and insects chirping away.
