Chaa Creek. I have been looking at the website for this resort for the past 2 years. My fiancé and I are looking for a place to get married, and we’d love it to be an eco-lodge. We’re both wildlife biology graduate students who have traveled extensively throughout Africa, Asia, and South America. However, our traveling is always for research…aka…work. We would love to travel to an eco-lodge where we could relax and enjoy the jungle together.
In particular we are scouting for a place to get married. We are looking for the perfect balance of outdoors/ eco-friendly (for us) and a bit of luxury (for our families). Chaa Creek seems to have it all. We want a place that has activities for the most adventurous of us and the slower pace family members. Our families come from opposite coasts of the US, so we are very interested in finding a family-friendly place that facilitates group interaction. Chaa Creek seems to offer something for everyone! I can just imagine our moms getting side by side massages while our wedding party does a trek through the rainforest to the Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave. I can’t wait to hear the giggles of our flower girl and ring bearer as they watch Blue Morpho Butterflies hatch out of its chrysalis.
We would love to check out Chaa Creek to see if it’s the spot of our dreams and take a vacation. Although we don’t have a lot of money to spend on our wedding, we would feel much more comfortable spending our money at a place that cares about the environment and actively works to make this world a better place. We try to live as green lives as possible and Chaa Creek fits right in with our mission.
