A few years back, we had the good fortune of traveling to southern Belize. We delighted in pristine, unspoiled beaches on idyllic cayes and close encounters with sharks while snorkeling.
We spent time in a quiet, calm, and patient anticipation waiting for the gentle manatees to surface, led by the most wonderful, knowledgeable guide who wouldn’t be satisfied until we had experienced the wonder.
We floated down a river enveloped in a cacophony of avian chatter and then hiked through the jungle and swarms of mosquitoes just to enjoy the screaming entertainment of the Howler monkeys.
We over indulged in the freshest of seafood during the annual Lobster Festival while the local steel drum band played on into the night.
Belize is a beautiful country and I fell in love with its breathtaking views and friendly people. But something was missing. I was not fortunate enough to be a guest at Chaa Creek. My accommodations were adequate but could not hold a candle to the splendor and warmth that Chaa Creek is known for. I dream of returning and properly exploring everything that is the Cayo region. I believe the only way that this can truly be accomplished is by being a guest at the incomparable Chaa Creek resort.
Chaa Creek means so much to me,
I’ll tell you-alphabetically!
Thank you for the opportunity to share my passion and love for Chaa Creek and the beautiful country of Belize.
It is truly heaven on earth.
