Four years ago, I visited Belize, the only English speaking country in Central America, for the purpose of working at an orphanage being newly built, just outside of Belize City. I spent close to six months residing in the orphanage with my then 6-1/2 year old son. Many of the children still linger in our hearts and we hope one day to perhaps apply for an adoption, if that becomes possible.
While in Belize, an ecological haven boasting the second largest barrier reef in the world, we spent much of our free time, snorkeling in some of its many beautiful cayes and enjoying the many exquisite natural wonders that belong to Belize. We look forward to returning to Belize at some point in the future, to spend even more time exploring this incredible natural haven of howler monkeys, iguanas, umpteen species of birds, the historical Mayan ruins and much more.
I believe that Chaa Creek with its 365 acres of natural reserve offering a sumptuous array of activities including guided horseback riding, nature walks, mountain biking, exploration of the magnificent Mayan temples, choices of packages ranging from Adventure Travel to Bird Watching to Jungle to Rainforest to Surfing, to Family Travel and Adventure, to Wellness, Honeymoon and Wedding offerings would be an absolutely ideal place for this venture and look forward to this possibility.
For those wanting to ‘get away from it all’, or have an ecological adventure of a lifetime, this magnificent resort, which has won an impressive myriad of awards and have been recognized by the likes of Conde Nast Magazine, Trip Advisor, Delta Skye Magazine, Forbes Traveler, CNN Traveler, National Geographic Adventure Magazine, Chaa Creek has something for you.
My son and I are so looking forward to my next visit to Belize. Staying here, how could we go wrong?
