Belize Expands Air Connectivity with New Spirit Airlines Flight from Fort Lauderdale, Offering One-Way tickets As Low as USD $85
As Belize continues to see strong growth in tourism, the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) is pleased to announce expanded international connectivity with the launch of a new nonstop route by Spirit Airlines. Starting November 21, 2025, Spirit will begin direct flights between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) in Florida and Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City.
This new route marks Spirit Airlines’ official entry into the Belize market, offering travelers a convenient and budget-friendly option to experience the country’s diverse and world-renowned tourism offerings. The service will operate three times weekly on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays—utilizing Spirit’s Airbus A320 aircraft.

Visitors traveling between Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Belize City (BZE) can take advantage of special introductory fares starting at just USD 85* one way, including taxes and fees. The introductory fares are available for booking today on spirit.com.
With this new addition, Fort Lauderdale becomes Belize’s 23rd nonstop destination, building on recent airlift expansions from San Francisco (launched December 2024) and Montreal (launching December 2025).
