The Lodge at Chaa Creek is celebrating Edmund Hillary and Tensing Norgay’s Mount Everest victory of May 29, 1953 with another Super Tuesday, giving vigilant travellers an opportunity to experience Belize rainforest luxury at budget accommodation prices, marketing administrator Larry Waight announced today.
Chaa Creek’s Super Tuesday of May 29 2012 offers 30% discounts on all rooms, including the Belizean eco resort’s signature thatched roof cottage accommodation and luxury treetop and Jacuzzi suites, as well as discounts of 20% off selected all-inclusive Belize vacation packages.
However, to take advantage of the discounts, people must book between 12 midnight Monday and 12 midnight Tuesday EST, Mr Waight said.
“As we’ve said before, it’s a very small window of opportunity for very large savings, and that’s’ what makes it so much fun,’ Mr Waight said.
“The first Super Tuesday back in April was a bit of a lark – we were more or less testing the waters to see how many people were paying attention and what the response would be. It turned out so positive, both for the people who took advantage of it, and for us here in the office in Belize, that we decided to repeat it every now and again,” he said.
The Super Tuesday discounts include three of Chaa Creek’s most popular all-inclusive Belize holiday packages – The Family Adventure, Inland Expedition, and Belize Rainforest Honeymoon packages.
Mr Waight said that all of Chaa Creek’s affordable Belize all-inclusive packages include everything from accommodation, all meals, activities, transfers, government taxes, even staff gratuities.
“All-inclusive means just that with our affordableBelize vacation packages,” Mr Waight said,” There are no hidden costs, no surprises. From the moment guests step off the plane into our air-conditioned vans they are looked after. Except for alcoholic drinks, people can literally arrive and depart without any additional spending, and have the time of their lives doing so.”
The Lodge at Chaa Creek sits within a 365 acre private rainforest nature reserve at the foothills of the Maya Mountains in western Belize. Situated on the Macal River, it offers jungle canoeing excursions as well as horseback and mountain bike riding along miles of rainforest trails connecting over 70 Maya archaeological sites, including the ancient Maya temple of Tunichilen. The highly regarded Natural History Centre, Butterfly farm, Hilltop Spa, Maya Organic Farm and Medicinal Plant Trail surround the Lodge area with its tropical gardens, pool, conference centre, a fine dining restaurant, Jungle Lounge and other amenities.
“May 29 was a big day for Edmund Hillary when he reached the top of Everest, and we want to make it a big day for adventurers all over the world with discounts that make an unforgettable Belize rainforest experience more affordable than ever. If you add up the many activities, the fine dining and everything on offer at Chaa Creek it’s pretty amazing. While it may not be as astounding as Sir Hillary’s achievement, it’s still pretty spectacular, Mr Waight said.
