Restorations are now complete, and the Belize Rainforest Retreat is ready to make its grand entrance while maintaining the essence of the Macal River Camp welcoming groups, FITs, and families.
Future plans also include bringing back the Eco Kids Summer Camp, a weeklong learning adventure camp for 24 young Belizeans. After successfully applying for this adventure, the kids are welcomed into the property, followed by days filled with activities designed to inspire the conservation of Belize’s flora and fauna.

Refreshed Eco Pods Await
Step back in time with our new Eco Pods, formerly known as Camp Casitas. These pods offer a one-of-a-kind insight into the simple jungle life, reminiscent of the days when founders Mick and Lucy dined by candlelight, serenaded by the sounds of cicadas and the mysterious rustles of the jungle.
Our Eco Pods are a collection of 10 screened pine cabañas. Each pod offers either 4 single beds or a queen bed with one or two single beds.
