Belize’s Lodge at Chaa Creek is celebrating Valentine’s Day with discounts for lovers wishing to spend a romantic getaway in the heartland of the Maya, the eco resort’s Spa manager Bryony Bradley announced today.
Ms Bradley, who coordinates Chaa Creek’s popular adventure romance all-inclusive Belize vacation packages said that her staff will be paying special attention to couples throughout February 2013.
“February and especially St Valentine’s Day has always been a big month for us here at Chaa Creek, and this year we’re offering even more special activities and tours aimed at giving couples a truly exceptional exotic getaway. Love will definitely be in the air all month long,” she said.
Ms Bradley said that Chaa Creek is offering discounts of 15% off all accommodation from February 3-14, along with some additional enticements for couples.
“Just let us know that you’re a couple booking under the “Month of Love” program and you’ll enjoy some sweet surprises,” she said.
“Imagine starting your Valentine Day off with a lovely breakfast with flowers, tropical fruits and fresh juices, and perhaps a quick swim in the pool before hiking, horseback or mountain bike riding along the miles of trails through our 365 acre nature reserve. Exploring an ancient Maya temple, or paddling a canoe together down the beautiful Macal River before a late lunch, a couple’s massage at the hilltop spa, and then enjoying our special lover’s cocktails before having a romantic candle light dinner on your private veranda. A soak in the Jacuzzi with a glass of bubbly surrounded by the gentle night time jungle sounds is a truly magical experience.
“We’re known as the adventure romance specialists in Belize because we really work with couples to make sure they get the romantic vacation of their dreams. We appreciate how important this time is to couples, so we go out of our way to make it special,” Ms Bradley said.
Ms Bradley said an essential part of a Belizean Valentines is chocolates, which originated with the ancient Maya of Belize.
“The Maya didn’t invent love, but they certainly invented the favourite lovers’ treat of chocolate from native cacao trees, so lovers can expect lots of “the food of the gods” as it’s known. They’ll find special chocolate desserts, little chocolate surprises in the rooms and even chocolate themed cocktails and massages.
“Combine that with a 15% discount off all accommodation, from our signature thatch roof cottage rooms to the luxury tree top and Jacuzzi suites and you have the most affordable luxury couples vacation imaginable,” she said.
The Lodge at Chaa Creek, Belize’s first eco resort, sits within a secure, private 365 acre rainforest nature reserve on the banks of Belize’s Macal River with miles of trails and over 70 ancient Maya archaeological sites. The resort is known for its affordable all-inclusive Belize vacation packages including exclusive Rainforest to Reef deals offering guests an opportunity to combine a rainforest experience with a Caribbean island holiday,” Ms Bradley said.
“Chaa Creek is known as a destination within a destination, meaning that once we pick you up at Belize’s international airport until we drop you off you’re completely looked after. We work with you to give you a tailored Belize vacation that caters to your interests. Whether it’s an action-packed adventure vacation, a laid back hammock and pool holiday or a combination of the two, we want to give couples even more reasons for smiling while they’re here.
“Once people see how we combine cupid, chocolate and the natural beauty of Belize I think they’ll understand why lovers keep coming back here. More than once a stay at Chaa Creek has led to couples booking a Belize wedding or honeymoon vacation with us,” Ms Bradley said.
