Finding ways to spice up your romantic life? Try a Belize Adventure & Romance Valentine package!
The Lodge at Chaa Creek is offering couples a unique combination of adventure and romance throughout February 2014, which the Belizean eco resort is once again celebrating, with some new additions, as “ St Valentine’s Month”.
Chaa Creek’s guest services manager, Denise Duran, who specialises in “romantic adventure travel” and coordinates the Belizean eco-resort’s wedding, honeymoon and romance packages, said that she and her staff will be paying special attention to couples from the end of January through to St Valentine’s Day and until the end of February.
“We’ve been celebrating all of February as St Valentines month for a few years now, as there’s too much on offer to confine it to one day, and this way the all-inclusive Belize vacation package can be given as a Valentine’s Day gift to be celebrated any time during the month. We’ve found that people with busy schedules really appreciated the flexibility last year, so we’re doing it again this year, but with some exciting new additions,” Ms Duran said.
Ms Duran said that during the entire month of February extra attention will paid to the Hilltop Spa, in-room candlelit dinners and the popular eco resort’s “new romantic adventures” including intimate Macal River Safaris on the “Miss Macal”, a traditional Belizean John-boat, that once plied Belize’s rivers and Caribbean coast during the country’s pirate past, and gourmet picnics in lush rainforest settings with ancient Maya temples.
“We’ve brought back epicurean horseback, mountain bike or nature walk outings, leisurely downstream river tube floats from the Belize Botanic Gardens to Chaa Creek and for those wishing to explore a remote part of the Belize hinterland in floating comfort aboard a motorised pontoon with an ample supply of snacks and refreshments, the “La Capitana” Vaca Lake excursions.
“We now have regularly scheduled daily departures to and from San Ignacio town for couples wanting to experience an extra bit of local colour together, and there’s always the romantic downstream canoe trips to town where we pick couples up and bring them back to the Lodge after a lazy river sojourn.
“And with Tropic Air’s new service to Belize City, Ambergris Caye and Placencia from the nearby Maya Flats airstrip, a couple can combine a rainforest excursion, ancient Maya exploration and Caribbean sea holiday right from their cottage rooms or villa suites at Chaa Creek,” she said.
Ms Duran said that all-inclusive Belize vacation packages, including wedding and honeymoon specials can be found on the Chaa Creek website, and that she will personally ensure special attention is paid to couples who book during the remainder of January and throughout February. Couples can also arrange a personalised bespoke vacation through the front desk, she added.
“We’ve found that adventure and romance go hand in hand at Chaa Creek, and that exploring new things together really enhances a relationship, as does a lovely breakfast with flowers, tropical fruits and fresh juices, and perhaps a swim in the pool before hiking, horseback or mountain bike riding along the miles of trails through the forest.
“There’s something about exploring ancient Maya temples, or paddling a canoe together down the tranquil Macal River that puts the ‘wow factor’ back in a relationship, just as a soak in the Jacuzzi with a surrounded by the gentle night time jungle sounds is a great way to relax while recharging the batteries.
Ms Duran explained that Chaa Creek earned its reputation as Belize’s “destination within a destination” due to the many activities on offer in the security of a private 365 acre nature reserve, and that her staff is always available to provide the personal touch and flexibility to ensure couples have an unforgettable experience.
“We really enjoy working with people to make sure they have the holiday they’ve looked forward to, and our all-inclusive Belize vacation packages are without a doubt the most affordable way to experience the very best that Belize has to offer,” she said.
