Parts of the Northeast United States colder than Mars?
Really?
Really. According to a recent, rather chilly report from CNN. And while we enjoyed Matt Damon’s hijinks on the Red Planet, we must admit that the thought of having to constantly protect oneself against severe elements sends an icy chill up our spines.
To be honest, just the idea of shovelling a car out of a snow bank, wading through sleet or shivering amid a blast of artic air leave us colder than that proverbial brass monkey.
We think it’s much better to enjoy the sounds of real monkeys cavorting about the jungle after a day of relaxing in the shade and actually enjoying outdoor activities.
Like swimming, canoeing, hiking, horseback riding, exploring ancient Maya temples and all the other things that are more fun when the weather hovers between 75°F – 80°F (that’s 24°C – 27°C for the decimally minded).
And what about fresh-picked fruits and veggies from the onsite Maya organic garden and just-caught Caribbean seafood from Belize’s pristine coastline?
