Parts of the Northeast United States colder than Mars?
Really. According to a recent, rather chilly report from CNN. And while we enjoyed Matt Damon’s hijinks on the Red Planet, we must admit that the thought of having to constantly protect oneself against severe elements sends an icy chill up our spines.
To be honest, just the idea of shovelling a car out of a snow bank, wading through sleet or shivering amid a blast of artic air leave us colder than that proverbial brass monkey.
We think it’s much better to enjoy the sounds of real monkeys cavorting about the jungle after a day of relaxing in the shade and actually enjoying outdoor activities.
Like swimming, canoeing, hiking, horseback riding, exploring ancient Maya temples and all the other things that are more fun when the weather hovers between 75°F – 80°F (that’s 24°C – 27°C for the decimally minded).
And what about fresh-picked fruits and veggies from the onsite Maya organic garden and just-caught Caribbean seafood from Belize’s pristine coastline? Farm-to-table dining and reducing food miles works better when it’s warm, fishermen and women are definitely more productive, and the cuisine is far more enjoyable when dining under the huge airy thatched roof of our Mariposa restaurant.
So – rather than leave our friends and global family out in the cold, we’re declaring Belize as a Warm Weather Sanctuary and offering a rescue plan that provides welcome relief from both the weather and the bank account.
We’ve already announced the Winter Warmer special offer with 20% discounts off of accommodation on certain days:
- January 2 – 10 2018
- January 18 – 30 2018
- February 6 – 9 2018
- February 25 – 28 2018
And you can read more about what makes it so special here.
We’ve also refreshed our extensive selection of all-inclusive Belize vacation packages that make use of our extensive infrastructure, 400-acre private nature reserve, and nationwide network of colleagues to offer the absolute best, most affordable vacation deals possible.
Combined with the many onsite amenities, free activities, and perks – like no charge for young guests under the age of 18 who stay in their parent’s rooms, suites or villas, and a dining menu broad enough to please any palate and budget, a Belize tropical escape can actually cost less than a winter holiday in the US, Canada, Europe or other frosty destination.
And with recent improvements in international and local air services, including direct flights from Canada and major US hubs, you can actually be shivering around a cup of coffee in the morning, and then enjoying a tropical cocktail while lounging around our refreshing infinity pool that afternoon.
We’ve thrown out the lifeline, and all you need to do to grab it is to contact your local travel agent, or one of Chaa Creek’s dedicated vacation planners directly, and we’ll start pulling you out of the cold and into a warm weather winter wonderland guaranteed to put a smile behind those sunglasses.
C’mon down – the water, and the weather, are just fine!
And who knows? You may just see Matt Damon getting a tan, what with the latest weather reports out of Boston…
