Chaa Creek Food Belize Vacation

With culinary tourism on the rise, Belize puts its name on the list as a foodie destination where you can enjoy traditional delicacies and Latin-Caribbean infusions in both inland and coastal locations.

Not sure what to include in your foodie bucket list? No worries, we got you!

Spiny Lobster, a Seasonal Delicacy:

In Belize, like in many places in the Caribbean, fishing is synonymous with a way of living. Some divers use hook sticks to mostly catch lobsters within the extensive inshore reef habitats, while others use wooden traps and “casitas.”

Both methods are effective and contribute to the country’s exportation and the daily consumption of the favoured crustaceans.
