Fox News Says Chaa Creek is Best Value for Spring
A new Fox News article highlighting Belize as one of the world’s best values for a spring break vacation featured Chaa Creek even before the Belizean eco resort announced significant spring discounts, marketing manager Larry Waight said today.
“We think travellers will be very happy to hear that Chaa Creek was identified by Fox News as one of the world’s very best spring break value destinations, and they’ll be even happier to know that we’re offering 15% discounts off of all accommodation from April 7 to May 31 this year,” Mr Waight said. “What Fox news considered to be a great deal just got even better,” he added.
A Fox News feature, “Best spring break value travel destinations: Belize,” by Nadine Jolie published 3 March 2013 said, “Belize is rich in history and beauty, with Mayan temples, lush rainforests, uncrowded beaches and ample adventure activities perfect for spring breakers like zip lining and jungle river canoeing. With affordably-priced all-inclusive deals that will allow you to tap into your inner adventurer without breaking the bank, it also features the world’s second largest barrier reef…”
The report went to say “For a true ‘Best of Belize’ experience, stay in the western Cayo District…” and highlighted Chaa Creek, along with neighbouring Xunantunich and Cahal Pech as places to go.
Mr Waight said he was happy to see that Fox News emphasized the affordability of Chaa Creek’s all-inclusive Belize vacation packages.
“We often feel that people aren’t aware of what a great deal our all-inclusive Belize vacation packages are, and especially with something like a spring break vacation, where you don’t want to worry about hidden costs or having to pay for each and every little thing. We know that nothing takes away from a holiday more than overspending.
“Our all-inclusive packages mean just that – everything, and we do mean everything, is included in the one set price. From the time we pick you up at the Belize international airport until we drop you back off, all of the luxury accommodation, delicious meals, huge range of activities, all transfers and even staff gratuities and government taxes are taken care of. Except for alcoholic drinks, there’s nothing else to pay for,” he said.
The Lodge at Chaa Creek sits amid its own private 365 acre rainforest nature reserve sprawled along Belize’s pristine Macal River and features accommodation ranging from signature thatch roofed cottage rooms to luxurious tree-top and Jacuzzi suites. Known as Belize’s first true eco resort, Chaa Creek also is home to the Belize Natural History Centre, over 70 Maya archaeological sites and the ancient Maya temple of Tunichilen, a fine dining restaurant with an extensive wine cellar, a Jungle Lounge, Butterfly Farm, professional Hilltop Spa, pool and a range of amenities and activities including canoeing, horseback riding, mountain biking, guided nature walks, birding and more.
“We’re known as Belize’s destination within a destination,” Mr Waight said, “because there’s just so much to do once you’re here that you don’t need to go anywhere else. This makes for a secure, very easy, affordable Belize holiday, and we’re happy to see that someone like Fox News appreciates this.
“And this was before we announced our new Super Spring Savings Special of 15% off accommodation for most of April and all of May. I think it’s safe to say that the best spring break value travel destination just got even more awesome,” Mr Waight said.
