“Absolutely AMAZING property/resort…We saw toucans and howler monkeys! The howlers made their rounds pretty much every day up by the spa villa.
The food is SO GOOD! We loved everything!
We also canoed to the Farmer’s Market in San Ignacio. It’s not to miss! The canoe trip is just beautiful!
You are on a river in a canoe just surrounded by lush beautiful jungle. So peaceful, so tranquil. We loved it!”

“We loved our time at Chaa Creek…It was wonderful to be close to and see so many birds, monkeys, iguanas, agouti.
The on-site activities were great – we went bird watching, canoeing, horseback riding to the farm, medicinal trail, swimming in the pool.
The concierge made it easy to arrange day trips to zip-line and see Caracol. The guides were incredibly knowledgable and personable – we learned a lot about history, culture and nature from them.”

Our favorite guided tours were to the Barton Creek caves and Xunantunich archeological reserve.

“This place is magical and straight out of a movie. Once in A lifetime experience. The pictures do not do it justice. It is a very romantic setting but families were here also. It never felt crowded. Many times you felt as if you had the place to yourself even with a full house.
