Guava Limb Café: Sharing Knowledge with Tourism Students!

Future Belize Culinary & Tourism Ambassadors visit The Guava Limb Café in San Ignacio Town!

7 young and energetic students from The Centro Escolar Mexico Junior College in the Corozal District made their way to Western Cayo to visit the restaurant of the year 2015, The Guava Limb Café.

Yesterday morning owner Mick Fleming and Head Chef Ennel Valdez welcomed students who are part of the Tourism Management Program at the CEMJC.

This Program will expose students to the travel, Organizational behavior and Sustainability of the Tourism Industry. It studies the structural composition and development of tourism in the Caribbean and in Belize.

Group leader, Yarecy Patt said that part of their college project was to visit a restaurant, learn about their food preparation, their unique menu, restaurant history and overall services.

During career week in December, students will have a booth to replicate the café including menus, waiters, food samples and most important service excellence.
