On Saturday October 18 2014, the FCD held a “Chiquibul Protection Telethon” that raised some $202,347 in pledges to keep rangers’ boots on the ground. With the generous support of sponsors, media houses and contributors , the telethon showed how concerned Belizeans are about protecting their environment.
