Response to The Lodge at Chaa Creek’s surprise Super Tuesday discounts has prompted Belize’s premier eco resort to offer a repeat performance this coming Tuesday, 22 May 2012.

“When we offered our first Super Tuesday back in April, we didn’t know what to expect as it had never been done before. The response was so good, with people saying how much they appreciated it that we decided to do it again,” Marketing Administrator Larry Waight said today.

On Super Tuesdays Chaa Creek offers discounts of 30% off all accommodation and 20% off selected Chaa Creek all-inclusive Belize vacation packages. However, guests must book between midnight Monday and midnight Tuesday to receive the discounts, and the Super Tuesdays are not announced far in advance.

My Waight said everyone seemed to enjoy the element of surprise – including the Chaa Creek staff.

“It’s great, because you never know how many people will book. We even bet on it at the office. It’s one of those under-the-radar, fun things you sometimes do,” he said.

Mr Waight said that 30% room discounts were unprecedented at Chaa Creek and put the cost of staying at the renowned and highly awarded eco resort on par with some Belizean budget accommodation. “When you consider what you get, from our beautiful thatched roof cottage accommodation and having the run of a 365 acre private rainforest reserve, it’s a spectacular deal, and I’m sure any seasoned traveller or industry professional would agree.”

“And as for the packages, they are all-inclusive, so 20% off means 20% off everything – rooms, our restaurant’s excellent meals, activities, transfers, taxes, even gratuities. Add that all up and it’s an astounding savings for a complete and very affordable Belize summer vacation,” he said.

This week’s Super Tuesday discounts apply to the Honeymoon, Family Adventure and Belize Inland Expedition all inclusive Belize vacation packages.
